Serotonin Syndrome — a rare but serious condition — has occurred in medical procedures where very high doses of Methylene Blue were administered alongside SSRIs (drugs that elevate serotonin). In those rare cases, severe and sometimes fatal effects were reported.
Although the FDA continues to advise against combining Methylene Blue with SSRIs, both the Mayo Clinic and the Government of Canada have since revised or retracted this warning.
Out of caution, do not combine Lumetol Blue™ Bars with:
